Popular Articles People Building Newsletter No 2 The Phases Of The Writer S Life Help To Understand The Freelance World Of Copywriting Services
Articles are those that are available in plenty these days in the internet. The articles are written by everybody these days and those articles are found to have different types these days. There are scholarly articles that are very informative down to the last number while there are just popular articles that give you information but are not as exhaustive as the scholarly ones. The popular articles can be identified in many ways.
The popular articles are pretty much based on the current topics and are more likely to find place in the magazines and newspapers. They are based on news stories and also magazines. It is important to differentiate between the scholarly articles and the popular press articles. The problem with that while the scholarly articles are very informative, they present only information to the people with the least of interest in the subject, or sometimes have no idea on the subject and the methodology discussed. They are made for by the popular articles that give in information that is only required by the reader. Even in the internet the website owners have recognized this trend and have started to supply only intended information in the form of popular articles.
In general, articles obtained from the scholarly press are viewed as the ones with more authority on the subject. They are a result of a more painstaking research and documentation. The popular articles on the other hand are written by anyone to fulfill the needs of the target audience. They are published more quickly as they are seldom verified.
And offer a less authoritative point of view. There are however points to be noted that both types of articles are visual and content-oriented. It is also important in the context of the articles viewed over the internet that the distinction is made to understand the difference in point of view.
The difference in the types of articles is that popular articles do not have any reference and certainly do not follow any specific structure. They are prone to mistakes in the statistics presented and also sometimes in the facts listed. The popular articles are not verified by academics or the experts in the field. Popular articles are based on the searches made by the users and also on the keywords searched. The keywords have an important bearing on the popular articles as they present the key in catering those articles to the users searching for it. The popular articles are generally to be found on the news websites and also sites that cater to specific issues like sports, environment and the others.
People Building is an NLP and Hypnotherapy Training company.
This month we have focused on the mind-boggling but fascinating world of quantum physics. This is an area which is covered in our Master Practitioner training and it’s much more interesting then it sounds! Once you delve into some of this stuff, you feel as if you’ll never view the world in the same way again!!
Quantum physics is the study of the tiniest bits of stuff in our universe, the minute building blocks of the matter around us. Quantum physicists came up with the phenomena known as the ‘Observer Effect’ – the idea that the way we observe something changes its very nature.
Scientists found that observing an electron will change its path because the act of observing light or radiation contains enough energy to disturb it. Also, in a famous study, scientists found that light can be seen as a wave or particle depending on the instrument that was being used to observe it.
What does this have to do with NLP?
Well, quantum physics suggests that we create the world around us. This relates to many of the principles underlying NLP. For example, the idea that we can control the way we experience our world through using our minds more effectively. Quantum physics supports NLP’s presupposition that the ‘map is not the territory’. It argues that we learn to construct our reality and that we each have our own separate reality that we create in our mind/brain. In other words, my world is very different to yours!! For example, story has it that when Christopher Columbus sailed up too the Caribbean, the natives were unable to see his boat as they had no concept of what a boat was.
A similar effect was also demonstrated in a study in which 2 groups of kittens were raised in an environment where they were exposed to only horizontal stripes or vertical bars. It was found that as adults, the cats exposed to horizontal stripes were unable to recognise the vertical bars and vice versa. The observer effect goes as far as to say that we do not even know that something exists until we observe it. So, there cannot be an absolute past or future.
Quantum physics argues that there are infinite numbers of probable pasts and futures, everything that could of happened did, but you choose the one you observe and create it. You cannot not change the world as it’s not possible to separate the observer from the observed.
Therefore if you change your observation you change the events and the meaning of the events in your past. Of course, this is precisely the aim of NLP therapeutic techniques such as Change Personal History – to change a persons observation or perception of past significant emotional events.

People Building Website – we are still in the process of having our website updated, a complicated business. As the chap that is currently helping us with this explained, the format used to create our website is not the usual standard software. He is currently trying to translate our format into the standard type, a process he likened to translating German into English, when you don’t speak German! So watch this space…..
Ha Ha Ha!!!!
What NLP terminology really means…….
Metaphor – not quite what your actually talking about
Observer – somebody too lazy to get involved
Dissociation – a group or club you are no longer part of
Contrastive Analysis – mines bigger than yours
Nothing is predestined: The obstacles of your past can become the gateways that lead to new beginnings……

Over the course of my writing life, I have noticed that other writers and I cycle through a series of steps on our path toward maturity as a writer. When people come to me for coaching, they often do not know where they are on the path and what they need to move forward. I’ve identified the phases and given suggestions for the support will best serve at each phase. Of course, I have seen the powerful impact of coaching at each phase, but I have added other means of support that are valuable for the writer’s journey.
Infancy You get the spark of creation. You are nervous about your inclination to write, not knowing where to get advice, information and support. Sometimes at this phase, people are afraid to even say aloud that they are a writer. Practice saying it at home, with the pets as audience, and see how it feels. Your loved ones may think you are nuts for wanting to write, but you feel more energized than you have in years. This phase also applies to writers who have taken a hiatus from writing and are coming back to honor a long-lost urge.
Best support for this phase: Hire a coach. With the support of a coach, you will be able to recognize that your emotions and challenges are common. A coach will help you harness that enthusiasm into a practice that will get you on a strong,
Childhood You have the exuberance of twenty people when it comes to writing. You want to write everything! You try essays, short stories, poetry, op-ed letters. Your exuberance and desire to learn carries you over any hurdles. You get a lot of practice in writing.
Best support for this phase: Take classes and join groups. This is a great time to be a sponge and absorb all the learning you can. Practice in whatever genre attracts you. This will help determine where your gifts lie and how to best use them.
Teen Years Your exuberance turns to restlessness. You want to see some results – publication, pay even! You yearn to narrow your focus and choose a path that will bring your writing dreams to reality.
Best support for this phase: Hire a coach. At this phase, a coach can help remind you of your original spark and motivation for writing. With a coach’s questions, you’ll be able to discover what is important for you and how to focus and commit.
Adulthood The rubber hits the road. You settle into your chosen genre. This may be where you write a novel or a memoir, or really develop your poetry. This is good, and you start to take yourself seriously.
Best support for this phase: Keep learning, with classes, books, online resources. This is a great time to be in a peer group, giving and getting feedback on your work. A group facilitated by a coach is a good idea, as it will help you to deepen your writing practice.
Full Maturity You’ve been at it for a decade or two and now realize the magnitude of what it takes to be a writer. This is no work for lightweights. You have publications under your belt and find yourself giving advice to whippersnappers writers. You read with a greater appreciation and realize how amazing good writing really is. You have a long term plan for your career and feel the power of your commitment.
Best support for this phase: Befriend writers who are further along than you. Find a mentor. Work with a coach who can help navigate the emotional swings of success.
Companies are beginning to outsource many of their tasks and jobs to outside companies as a way to save money on overhead. One area in which there has been a growth of freelance jobs is with copywriting services. As more companies outsource their writing and marketing divisions, more jobs are created. There are great benefits to all parties. Copywriting attracts new customers and garners attention through the use of marketing techniques. The business profits and those profits trickle down to the freelance writers.
The idea of copywriting is to attract customers to whatever service or product the business is offering. Perhaps it is best to think of it in terms of advertising. We flip through a magazine and find an ad that draws our attention. Maybe it is a new comb or hair care products. The wording catches our eye and we stop to read the ad. This is good advertising copywriting.
Copywriting services are not limited to just advertising. There are copywriters who write nothing but articles. The articles can be for magazines, publications, or websites. Web copywriting is usually in the form of Search Engine Optimized (SEO) articles. An SEO copywriter offers copywriting services that are specifically written to search engines such as Google or Yahoo. When an individual types in words for a search, it will produce articles or advertisements that contain those specific words, sometimes in the exact order.
Copywriting services need new writers to help put out new ideas and writing. There are many places that offer writing jobs. These places range from an internet bulletin board for writers or may be at a job fair.
As our world expands and businesses turn to the internet more for their customer base, so too will the need for copywriting services. Companies must stay well informed of the market and do what they can in order to persuade or influence consumer purchasing. A good copywriting service offers solid work and a dependable staff to meet those needs..
